Terms & Conditions For JJ's Pizza
Last Updated: 16 July 2026
Welcome to JJ’s Pizza (jjspizza.co.uk). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, general inquiries, and any private event or catering bookings made with us. By using our website or booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
1. General Mobile Operations
JJ’s Pizza operates mobile catering vans serving street food locations and private bookings.
-
Schedule Changes: While we try to maintain our 6 weekly public route stops, our schedule is subject to change due to severe weather, vehicle mechanical issues, or private event bookings. We post live route updates directly on our social media channels.
2. Private Catering & Event Bookings
For private hires (weddings, corporate events, private parties), the following rules apply:
-
Quotes and Booking: A booking is only fully secured once we receive a cleared deposit payment and issue a formal booking confirmation email from info@jjspizza.co.uk. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
-
Guest Counts: Final guest numbers and dietary requirements (such as vegan or gluten-free requests) must be confirmed in writing at least 14 days before the scheduled event. We cannot guarantee changes made after this date.
3. Deposits, Payments, and Cancellations
-
Deposits: All private bookings require a non-refundable deposit to lock in your date across our 2-van fleet layout.
-
Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 14 days before the event date.
-
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your event:
-
More than 30 days before: You forfeit your initial booking deposit.
-
Less than 14 days before: 100% of the total event booking balance remains fully payable, as we cannot rebook the mobile van slot at short notice.
-
4. Venue Access and Clear Space Requirements
The client is responsible for ensuring the van can physically and legally operate at the venue:
-
Parking & Clearances: The client must provide a flat, stable, ground-level parking space large enough for our mobile pizza van, along with clear driving entry and exit paths. [1]
-
Permits: It is the client's responsibility to secure any necessary land permissions, council permits, or private venue approvals required for us to park and cook live on-site. If we are turned away by a venue or property manager, no refunds will be issued.
5. Limitations of Liability
JJ’s Pizza will not be held legally or financially responsible for any failure to perform our catering duties due to circumstances completely beyond our control (Force Majeure). This includes, but is not limited to: severe traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, extreme weather events, fuel shortages, or power/venue failures at your location. In the rare event we cannot make it, our maximum liability is strictly limited to a full refund of any monies paid to us for that booking. [1]
6. Website Use and Intellectual Property
All website layouts, copy, logos, graphics, and food photography displayed on jjspizza.co.uk are the exclusive intellectual property of JJ’s Pizza. You may not copy or duplicate our assets without written permission.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
